Try the assistant
Interactive demo · No real resources created
Less manual setup.
More application.
The difference is what SYNVirt prepares for you. And what it lets you review.
Your command becomes a form
Import the name, image, variables, ports and volumes from supported commands. Review and adjust each field without typing it again.
The image tells us what it needs
SYNVirt suggests ports and volumes from image metadata. You choose where to store the data and how much space to assign.
One project, one application
Paste Compose or a public Git repository URL. Review its services and resources in the application assistant.
Control where you expect it
Open logs, console, files and resource usage from the container. In the same environment where you manage your virtual machines.
Start with what you have.
One entry point. The assistant adapts its path to your application source.
An image
nginxEnter an image reference or select one from your library. SYNVirt reads its configuration to prepare the assistant.
A Docker command
docker run …Paste a supported docker run command. Its options become fields you can review and edit.
Compose or Git
compose.yaml / GitPaste the file or public URL. Review the source and services before assigning networking, disks and protection.
Before you start.
Clear answers to help you choose your first application.
Do I need to set up Kubernetes?
Not for this workflow. Containers run on SYNVirt’s native engine, based on Podman. Create and manage them from the platform.
Can I paste any command or Compose file?
A subset of Docker and Compose options is supported. Unsupported options are rejected so you can correct them. Git supports public repositories; private authentication is not available.
Where does my data live?
Assign volumes on local ZFS, SYNVirt vSAN or NFS. SYNVirt suggests paths declared by the image; check that all application data is on persistent volumes.
What should I review for a Compose application?
Its services, dependencies and resources. Individual migration and Guardian HA for Compose groups remain restricted. An image’s external dependencies must be deployed separately.
